Jesse Adams
Coordinator at Large

Jesse AdamsJesse is the Corvallis Benton-County Public Library’s Information System Analyst.  But don’t hold that against him.  A 2000 OSU alum, Jesse has been with the City of Corvallis since then.  In addition to maintaining order of the Library’s IT systems, Jesse works actively to expand their public programming, including maker, 3d-printing and Minecraft.

Andrew Cherbas

Coordinator at Large

Andrew is the Extensions and Technology manager at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library.  Andrew has been with the CBCPL system for 13 years and is a loud advocate for all things programming.  Current projects at the CBCPL include expanding the Maker program offerings, organizing the 2016 Summer Reading program,  and overseeing various technology improvement projects. A  refined generalist,  his personal interests include all things sports,  music and the search for the illusive extra hour in the day.

Eric Hinsch
Volunteer Coordinator

EricHEric received his MS in Wood Science from Oregon State University in 2015, and is currently a PhD student in the same field. Eric also has a BFA from Finlandia University in Art & Design with a concentration in Fiber arts and Fashion Design. His Making skills include spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing, and cooking. Eric had a loom knitting booth at The CO· 2015 and is Volunteer Coordinator for The CO· 2016

Raymond Malewitz

Neanderthal Ray

Raymond is an assistant professor in the School of Writing, Literature, and Film at Oregon State.  His research and teaching focuses upon literature and science, environmental literature, new materialisms, and contemporary American literature.  His recent book, The Practice of Misuse: Rugged Consumerism in Contemporary American Culture (Stanford UP, 2014) examines the significance of object repurposing in American culture from 1960s to the present.

Margaret Mellinger
Operations and Logistics Coordinator

Margaret2015Margaret is an associate professor in the OSU Libraries & Press and heads its Emerging Technologies & Services Department.  One of her interests is exploring how the maker movement aligns with librarianship to serve underrepresented groups. She also works with ChickTech, a nationwide non-profit started at OSU to encourage girls and women to pursue careers in science and technology.

Charles Robinson

CharleCharles is currently OSU faculty in the arts and interdisciplinary studies, but in past lives an archivist, IT manager, and an editor. Charles now refinishes furniture on the side, spends way too much time searching for used vinyl, and when not chasing/being chased by his booming family, focuses on building new and rewarding interdisciplinary and engagement programming at OSU.

Sara Robinson

Sara Robinson is an assistant professor in the anatomy of renewable materials, Department of Wood Science & Engineering at OSU. She is also an artist who focuses in natural colorants and woodturning.

Kaitlyn Wittig Mengüç

Kaitlyn is a performance artist, information specialist at the Valley Library, and an instructor with the School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at OSU. She is is also a co-founder of Plural, an arts organization dedicated to advancing equity in the arts through support of Canadian and US ethnocultural and community grounded arts organizations, artists, and arts administrators.  Her research interests include arts and health programming and the intersection of the arts, health, and cultural equity. Kaitlyn is a passionate advocate for the STEM to STEAM movement.
